farewell June

haunted memories

summer sunsets

we hum along this ancient tune.

Rituals, tides, we follow light. Moonlight, Sunlight, Cathode Ray Tube light, diodes emitting light.  We de-light in light.

Pattern of change as our home rotates-- it always has, revolving too.

Spun up like cotton candy layers, wispy strands of memories, connecting us in the humid month of June.

Gone too soon, farewell for now.

Beyond jagged edges of space and time, our lives live strong.

Burning like embers, glowing red, flickering lights. You are strong, you know the way.

The lamp is there to bring you back.

We close our eyes, we dance and pray.
